Fridge Rid
I loathe throwing away food, so when I had some soon-expired eggs to use and a craving for baked goods, I used an Allrecipes recipe for the simplest flourless PB cookies: 1 cup PB, 1 cup sugar, and 1 egg combined, dropped, and baked at 350*F for 10min. Doesn't get much easier... or tastier.

Jonesing...
...for a VooDoo maple bacon donut.
School's simmered down since I had to drop Calculus because of a schedule conflict. So, I'm coasting through Chem I now with a nervous teacher fresh out of school (she accidentally wrote 4 + 4 = 4 on the board yesterday), and my lab partner knows English as a second language and is sweet, but I end up staying about an hour later in lab everyday to translate the material for him and I don't always have the patience for it. Serenity. NOW.
Making some Asian Salmon and another batch of The Best Broccoli Ever tonight pre-show. Hopefully donuts post-Cursive :)

Green Pinky
Meet Big Bertha, my new basil plant. When faced with whether to buy $3 cut basil or a $4 plant, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to see if I can keep a plant alive. Pray for Bertha, she'll need it.

Inspiration Up
Photo: NYTimes.comUntil Up was released, I completely forgot about a local stubborn house right in Seattle. Click on the above image to read about Edith Macefield's holdout until her death, and view five other stubborn houses at Deputy Dog. I like these people's tenancity, even when $1 million (and a Trader Joe's!) is on the table.
Upcoming: HBO's "Bored to Death"
HBO's latest features Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, and Ted Danson, which seems like a killer team. Basically Schwartzman decides that because he's read detective novels since he was a kid, he knows enough to be one, but the trailer doesn't seem to do the cool setup justice. But with a cameo by Parker Posey, I'm definitely intrigued.
